Deborah began her nursing career in 1979 in various Phoenix hospitals. Her 17 years of experience in areas of the emergency and I.C.U. departments has helped prepare her now for her experience as a nurse practitioner. She graduated from Arizona State University's Nurse Practitioner program in 1998 and soon after became nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She joined Mesa Family Physicians in October of 2000, and currently works part-time. The majority of her practice is caring for pediatric and adult clients. She is able to perform minor surgical procedures, and enjoys promoting health in both the male and female population. She also works in various east valley emergency departments as a nurse practitioner treating a variety of urgent care problems (suture placement and wound care, treatment of minor trauma and minor infections). She is a native to Arizona and resides in Gilbert with her husband Bill and their three children.
